I'm back

Hi guys, I'm officially back from my hiatus. Unfortunately I don't have anything to post at the moment because my computer's hard drive crashed and all my files (literally thousands, I'm dead serious) have been lost for good. In my infinite stupidity I hadn't backed anything up since 2014, so all my poetry, all my stories, all my pictures, everything I'd been building for years is gone. I won't lie, it feels as though my heart has been hit by a bus and dragged across a mile of asphalt; I feel grief as though I've lost someone close to me. I'm not giving up, however. I owe it to myself to rebuild, to keep producing creative things. After all I still have my imagination, and nothing and no one can take that from me. It's what has kept me going through dark times, and despite the enormity of my loss this time shouldn't be any different. That is what I will keep telling myself over the next couple weeks as I try to pick up the pieces and get my head back together.

That being said, I sincerely apologize to those of you who have messaged me and not received a response. Communication will never be my strong suit, but I promise I'll get back to you eventually. Your patience and support means a lot to me. Have a great day, fellow artists.
